Additional Fee Guidelines
- An initial phone consultation with one of our attorneys is free and without obligation. In that conversation it is typical for the attorney to offer services on either a flat fee or an initial retainer fee arrangement. We then communicate how to pay and how to sign the agreement for services.
- A flat fee amount includes required attorney hourly expenses and filing fees. The flat fee is unchanged unless the legal work expands to a different type of case.
- An initial retainer fee amount provides an allowance for required attorney hourly expenses and filing fees. If the total of those grows to exceed the initial retainer amount, we start billing for those amounts over the initial retainer amount.
