Jed McKeehan

I’m Jed McKeehan, founder of McKeehan Law Group. I have practiced law in Knoxville since 2007, representing people in divorce, child custody and other family-law matters, personal injury cases, and criminal defense.

My approach starts with a straightforward conversation about your situation. I want you to understand the decisions ahead, what your options are, and whether I can help.

I enjoy the work of negotiating, arguing and litigating. That does not mean every case belongs in a courtroom. I discuss settlement and mediation when I believe those options serve your interests, while treating trial as a serious option when appropriate.

Outside my work with clients, I write legal explainers for The Knoxville Focus. My goal is to make legal questions easier to understand, whether someone is preparing for a case or simply trying to understand how the law affects everyday life.
